Gotta love his drive phase with its distinct conclusion when his face comes up. Also his high knees thereafter.

I was near the departure lane: Vicaut ran Ć  la Mo Greene: very smooth and powerful! Under perfect weather conditions... Lemaitre was looking very tired or ill. I also see a bright future for our triple jumper Rapinier(17m45) and I saw a good explosive and electric French Willie Banks...i mean Tamgho of course!!! (17m49)

Good job by Vicaut, Lemaitre on the other hand...I don't get it, he is on the road for a second consecutive poor season (this season has been even worse than 2012!). His times have been on decline since 2011, and I really doubt Christophe reached his peak at the age of 21! He is still young (23 years), but he can't afford his development go almost backwards in these critical years of his career. He needs to change something, most likely the coach.

Hmmm...Err, uhh...Is it just my imagination running absolutely hog-wild, or does this girl have the potential to invade Lolo's turf, the sooner she breaks the French NR (12.56)?

The way the French pass, I'm starting to get a little worried about the WC silver . . .

P.S. LeMaitre is all over the place!!

Lemaitre really has an awful start. He really needs to work on it. I guess he will only run the 200m come Moscow which is really his best chance at a medal

So, who else has run 9.95 or better twice in an afternoon? AP did when he set the WR in the heat and came back with a better race (slightly slower time but without wind help). I am sure some of the top sprinters have had a heat/final double, but not too many.

How long between the 2 races did he have ?

I think everyone saw this coming for Vicaut. What is a bit perplexing is LeMaitre, he seems to be regressing.

I really think it might be time for him to start thinking 200/400 instead. He's coming off a 10.04 100m season and isn't looking all that this one.

I just think he needs a new coach.....as ive mention before. Maybe he should try running the 400m next season as its a non championship year

Great to see another non-American/Caribbean athlete competing well!

Lamaitre may need an expanding universe to succeed (go ask JRM).
