I was telling my three-year-old the classic bedtime story "Goldilocks & the Three Bears" a few nights ago, which of course starts by naming the three main characters who live in the house: Daddy Bear, Momma Bear, and Baby Bear.
"No!" she insisted. "Daddy Bear isn't there!"
"Well, where is he?" I asked.
"He's at a track meet!" she replied.
Okay, maybe I've been spending a tad too much time at the track. :-)
