    Same question.

He also blamed it on alcohol which technically lowers testosterone, she he was merely talking bollocks. Though orgasm does briefly raise testosterone levels.
So, beer and sex sorta offset each other?
I see someone applying for a federal grant to determine how many beers = one orgasm.

You need to understand that in proper context. This is the kind of case that pointed out the need for an independent, professional, adjudication body. Before the creation of the ADAs, people in drug cases (not just USaTF's) tended to be tried by "a jury of their peers," which meant that if you spun a good story, you might get away with it. (or in the case of a Merlene Ottey you could get lucky when the panel ended up with bad math)
One official told me that their general policy was to clear the athletes so that they wouldn't get sued. The federation would then wait for the IAAF to take it up -which nearly always happened, and then let the IAAF ban them, letting the local federation off the hook.

Is the wiki entry "His defense of "five bottles of beer and sex with his wife at least four times . . . it was her birthday, the lady deserved a treat," was accepted by USA Track and Field..." accurate? I mean, did USATF really believe that?

I'll leave the question to an expert on such a combination. Maybe DM himself.

I'm bettin' that if CladThin can't answer LoneWolf's leading question, NoOne can! Or should Wee We await the distaff side's weighing in, so to speak?

    Horny Rabbits remain clueless.

The quote on the wiki entry for him is hilarious. I'd forgotten what he said until I checked it out earlier today.
