    I agree all the way; my possibly obscure point was that only amongst this crew would 13.7 seem "mediocre"; and now it's good to hear that AE concurs. As I posted at the time, I'd begun to fear that a lapse in competitive juice--at least in individual events formerly points of pride. After all, how many Decathletes, beside Milt Campbell and Rafer Johnson (and Joel Shankle, Bronze '56), have placed so well against Open hurdlers?

    As for SP and related events, I'm more concerned w/ consistency than PRs. When 15m becomes second nature, along w/ anything closer to 50m in Discus, I'll breathe easier.
