Absolutely fantastic race to watch. Hopefully we will see the the real Bekele again from now on until Rio.

Wish Bekele had ran a late summer 10k on the track.

                  Re: 2013 Great North CityGames

The performances seemed a bit down but on the other hand, this ain't a stadium with thousands of fans screaming, either. Newcastle/Gateshead has done some great promotion here and I wish the USA would do more of this kind of thing. I thought that the whole thing was pretty cool with a good vibe going.

It was good to see Sally Pearson finish her season on a good note (two wins) and also great to see Morgan Uceny win again. After this and her 1000 meter PR in Brussels, her curve is finally going upward once again.

Looking forward to the 5th Avenue Mile next weekend with many of the same faces.

Just watched the race again...he didn't seem to be trying too hard. Fatigue?

I didn't know David Oliver was an Arsenal fan....
