    Re: Saturday's OTC

Torres hasn't raced this year due to injury, and I'm really anxious to see how well he's been progressing. He's apparently been pushing really hard lately, trying to catch up for lost time.

I'm guessing he's doing the 3K to focus on his speed, since he plans on running the 5K in Athens - if he can get there. Jorge is targeting sub 13.20 at the Trials.

How sub is the key as to whether he has any shot at all of getting to the Games final.

The men's 5 has to be one of the toughest competitions in Athens. I still cannot get Bekele's 12:37 out of my mind. What an insane time!

Maybe we should have a pool on whether or not the Trials field can run 12:37..... with a lap to go!

No diss at all. In the Sacto conditions not at all impossible to envision that we could see a bunch of 13:21-PR guys running 13:40 pace; what do you think that brings them through 4600m in?
