    Re: Smarty Jones-not track

Does Coach B ever say anything without a negative context? First Mo's show burning upset him, and now horse racing.

Barnet -- yes, he feels trapped, as being behind bars, or caught, as in a net. He takes it out on everyone unfamiliar and uncooperative with his crooked ways.

        Makes me think of
        >Secretariat.

There were pictures circulating of Secretariat and SJ side by side racing in the last couple of days and they actually looked remarkably similar from the front.

Starting to get very to post time now.

Offer has been received to buy Smarty Jones for 50 million dollars if he wins today.

If he wins, and I'm almost sure he will, I wouldn't take that money. Somebody will pay more, possibly much more.

Still exciting as all get out. Track analogy-you run a lot further if you aren't on the inside.

Damn! he had it locked, and just faded. Picture someone who has the 400m won, then just fades in the last 30m! It was that type of race

If you don't go to bed soon Epelle, you will have to blow off that long run.

My son and I looked at each other and yelled, "Fix!" Think how much money was won betting AGAINST SJ. Conspiracy theorists?

                            The Coach is great.

If he's for real he's....er...off center a bit.

If he's a put on my congrats to the putonner.

He looked the same as he had in the Derby and Preakness off the bend. Just a little longer down the stretch I guess.

One thing I noticed was that the turf under him was kicking up more than under the horse that won.

Maybe he was on a looser part of the track.
