  • West Regionals Weather Report

Left the Stanford parking lot at 09:30 this morning and it was already 77 degrees. Light breeze, few wispy clouds, "zero" humidity. The kind of day that makes San Francisco Bay Area arguably the best place on the planet to live (but then, I'm biased).

Forecast is for more of the same throughout the weekend, so expect a couple of nice days in the sun if you're lucky enough to be able to attend.

Let me get this straight: there are tons of people in the Bay Area who are edible? Or is "crunchy wackos" just some new breakfast cereal with which I'm not familiar?

Sure, if you like your air thick enough to chew, and seeing through it isn't a requirement.

Me and my big mouth in starting this thread! So out of the blue this morning opens almost drizzly, predicted high of only 72, which means that nasty cold winds could spring up late in the afternoon.

The only thing our friend NorCal has to smile about is that this morning's paper predicted LA for a high of only 67. That seems kinda hard to believe.

Sounds as if you're in the wrong Region, gh. Fairfax weather for today is sunny with a high of 80 (27C).

(Don't ask about tomorrow though. Cooler with showers and T-storms. Yuck.)

...while in the Heartland (God's country), look for perfect sunny skies and lovely moderate temps in Lincoln.

                    take that, left-coasters

weatherunderground.com says that at 11:45 it was already 88 in Lincoln. Of course, for Lincoln, maybe that is "moderate" :-)

                          Above ground it was 112.

I don't want to hear any whining about cold winds and 72-degree weather. It's 96 here in Austin right now, which is actually a relief -- they were predicting 102. And no, it's not a "dry heat." It's a miserable heat.

Lee- you can always take solace from the fact that you're not in Houston.
