  • World Relays- Men's 4x100

Jamaica looks pretty solid for gold, America for silver with even mediocre baton passing, so the question is who contends for the third medal. It looks pretty wide open. Any other team that makes it to the final is in medal contention with GB the likely favorite, but they haven't gotten the baton around legally in a long time.

I may be biased, but the german team has been practising a lot for this event and all four ran decent times this year: 10.07 - 10.19 - 10.20 - 10.21.

Please, people, call these events by their proper names! This is The 1 Lap Relay, you know.

That's still better than the second best country. By far.

I was suggesting Germany for third place, but that UK 37.93 changed my mind, not german team ever ran below 38 seconds, so now it's german in 4th.

And soon it will no longer be "track & field", the IAAF will change it to "Happy fun time with big fast people".
