Re: WEBB WINS 3:32.74
The boy actually has quite a fluent stride when he gets going. Decent knee lift for a middle distance runner. Lagat tried to chase but couldn't. Heshko made a valiant attempt to catch Webb but he wasn't for catching. Based on the last race, I thought Webb needed to be ahead of the pack when the serious racing began. He and his handlers obviously realised that and he made sure they had to come catch him. I'd say he's learning to run to his strengths. Would love to see him in a race where they try to make it slow to see what his reaction would be.why don't people pronounce vowels anymore

Re: WEBB WINS 3:32.74
It was basically tape-to-tape win, very smooth, very relaxed. He actually began to pull away from Lagat & co at the bell. Heshko would have caught him, but timed his kick too late, ran out of track. WOW! (Funny thing is, because he's balding, he looks like an old veteran!)

That's almost another whole second dropped off his PB. Alan's saga is getting more interesting all the time. He's gone from a young has-been to the world leader in a freakishly short period of time.
It's damn great to see him back and better than ever.
