Oregon only got 5 points in the 100 meters. So A&M will probably win the meet. They got 1st and 3rd in the 400 hurdles....

Oh, she got third. My mistake. Even though it was only by a thousandth of a second, she still got it!!Cool!! I'm still all in for Texas... But A&M has not made any mistakes yet, so they will win in the end...

I don't think a 4x100 would have taken that much out of Prandini and Francis if they're in shape. As a matter of fact, some coaches might have viewed it as a good warm-up for their other events.

Did some counts after today was over, and came up with the following:

The MOST points available to each team, disregarding formcharts, but giving each its MAXIMUM number of points left to vie for:

Texas has 50 remaining possible points.
Florida has 48.
Oregon has 40.
Texas A&M has 38.

Of course, they're NOT going to get those MAXIMUM numbers tomorrow!!

Being a Ducks fan, here's a POSSIBLE way they win (though it would take some shocking upsets to have happen!!).

Okay, so I went a bit overboard.
(Duck fans are like that!! )
But the only REALLY insane scenarios are those in the 1500 & 5K, concerning Penney and Berge.

But look how many solid favorites were upset today!
Kipp in the Steeple finishes in 6th!!
Petrillose NH's!!
Nick Miller loses the HT!
Nick Ross in the HJ.

So picking Penney for 2nd....running before the UO crowd?
Okay, Berge finishing anywhere near 6th would take a small miracle, but stranger things have happened at Hayward Field.

I just think the UO women aren't as out of it as some folks believe!

The 4x100 is key. A&M makes it veryhard for the others if they finish first or second.
