    And Grigorieva is in the pole vault. I guess she's still desperately chasing an Olympic qualifying mark. I don't believe that she had any luck during the Aussie summer track season.

        Yeah, 11.37 is abysmal. I dunno. We might see a lot more of these sprint times coming back down to earth.

        And my gal Tatiana sucked wind in the pole vault, 4.15.

          We will. And soon Wilma Rudolph's 11.18 on dirt in Rome 44 years ago - even with +2.something wind - will look a whole lot faster than most people ever realized.

            I wouldn't count out Pintusevich yet. Look at the times that Capel and Bernard Williams ran compared to what they're capable of. Doesn't look like it was a night conducive to fast sprint times.
