  • A U.F.O in Zaragoza...

A great throw from the unknown Spanish discus
thrower: 68m00 at the Zaragoza Meeting.

How can you not know who Mario Pestano is? Ignorance is not an excuse....

        Damn...
I had forgotten to write his name.
May be the first Spanish discus thrower to ever
get Gold in history next August.
        Viva ESPANA!!!

VIVA ;-) Yup, he's neither unknown for me because I'm Spanish. Download his pdf format profile here:

Search in HOMBRES / Lanzamientos / Pestano, Mario

No, it is the Baltics this year. Kanter, Alekna and Tammert. What a trio!
Pestano has been around for some years. Did he not throw about 68 already 3 years ago?

Pestano was close to 68, 67.92 in '01. Maybe it is Baltic's year, but maybe Finno-Ugric, Fazekas is in the mix. And Riedel is usually in the hunt.

Add Alekna, Mollenbeck, Kruger and Hopley and we have a potentially awesome competition
