From what I see of the revised schedule, all events that had scheduled semifinal rounds have been changed to prelims and finals only.

Men's LJ and DT, and women's HJ, PV, LJ and DT have all been changed to finals only.

That seems kind of draconian to me, but I'm not an expert on event scheduling.

Wow, they must have gone really late last night. They didn't resume the hep HJ until 9:45.

Based on the results it looks like they got through day 1 of the heptathlon.

They've posted the new sked (http://www.texassports.com/mainpages/tk ... edule.html), although I'm having trouble understanding it -- some of the field event qualifying has simply disappeared. Does that mean they're just sending everyone to finals? Also, they have the hep events that never happened listed for Wednesday afternoon; given that the NCAA can't even figure out a good regional system, I'm sure they haven't perfected time travel.

I just went down to the track and was told by an official that, beginning at 9:45 CST, the hep HJ and women's jav prelims will be held. Everything else has been postponed, and a revised sked will be posted after midnight CST.
