    Given the genetic predispositions we all witness, you'd think the All-Africa Finals in every running event from 100m to Marathon would be the main input into the World Rankings every year.

      I just posted it because it will be interesting to see if Ahoure can upstage Okagbare's CWG title with a win here. She qualified faster. In the men's, it will be interesting to see if the Africans can beat the Americans.

          Judging from the sounds emanating from the stands and the echo of the stadium speaker in the videos you'd think there were only a few dozen spectators.
          Very strange spectacle (w audio).

            Yeah, the stadium is 99.99% empty. It looks like just friends and family. Maybe the 100m final there is like Race Walking or Hammer Throw qualifying here.
