Don't know whether the M 110H entries are not yet in, or whether it's an html issue.

Here is a link to an IAAF document about the Brussels finals:

Note: some of the analyses in the prior one contained errors, but the basic information is OK.

Some pretty good (!) events here. Is anything better than the HJ, which just might be the highlight of the season. If Gatlin wins both is he number 1 in both the 100 and 200; he is thin in the latter, but not all (but partly) of his doing, possibly, if he has not been allowed to compete in some of the meets?

I would give him #2 behind Edward if he does win.

But the bigger picture here is that what Gatlin and Bondarenko do here in Brussles should determine the clear #2 AOY.

Also Im very interested to see if Christian Taylor can win the LJ diamond here.

Imagine the headache if Barshim sets a WR.

Best field event might be the HJ, but the best track event is, by far, the Women's 3000.
          Only Obiri is missing.
(Would've liked to have Cain & maybe 1 or 2 other Americans in there too!!)
The best mano a mano battle might be Rowbury vs Simpson.
If one of them doesn't win outright, it will be very interesting to see who wins this more personal battle within the greater battle.

I believe Barshim could still be the no. 1 ranked HJer of the year, and he doesn't need a WR to do that. He's 2-3 vs Bondarenko, has 3 competitions at 2.40 and above (the same number as Bon) and won the WIC. If he wins Brussels and CC, he'll be ahead on all ranking criteria.

The W 200 with Felix, Okagbare & Schippers will surely sort out who ends the season ranked number 1 in the world. Such a shame Bowie isn't in after her injury. Does the winner of his race guarantee their number 1 ranking? They all seem to have a case for beingtop ranked still.

I think the biggest women's mess will be the 100m (Bowie, Okagbare and Campbell-Brown) then there is the 400m.........

                          I would have said
m1500 - all the fast guys are there
                          mSteeple - ditto
w200 - will directly influence the World Rankings

I actually had déjà vu regarding the world cup selection discussion that's been had in the CC thread with this quote by Mekhissi-Benabbad in the Brussel press conference.
“Tomorrow’s field looks like an Olympic final,” said Mekhissi-Benabbad. “It’s probably even better, because in an Olympic final you’d have a maximum of three Kenyans, whereas there is more than that in tomorrow’s race.

Jesse Squire's analysis of the W 3000 is in error, I believe. He says Dibaba has to win and Cherono finishing out of the top two, because Cherono has 3 wins to 2. However, if Dibaba wins and Cherono finishes 2nd, they will tie on points, tie on wins (Dibaba now having 3 also) and Dibaba would win based on better performance in the final. Right?
                              Cheers,
