Marshevet Hooker's legal 11.14 isn't just an Olympic "A" mark, it's more importantly a U.S. "A" as well. The mark ties Chryste Gaines (who is facing possible suspension) for the 5th best U.S. performer this year.

While she probably isn't going to make the Olympic team, I'd say go for it. How many chances does a person get to go for the gold? Especially since she's an automatic now.

I think Lauryn Williams is going to make a 100 m team.

11.29 didn't advance (one legal, one windy); previous fastest non-qualifier was 11.43w, 11.51 legal

              Re: Lauryn Williams 10.94

In the 100H, there were some outstanding times oh-so-close to legal.

Only 4 teams represented in the 100H final: Texas, LSU, UCLA, Nebraska. All but Nebraska are guaranteed to score points, but Lopes of Nebraska had the top time...

The US is looking for a 4x1 lead off. With Angela Williams injured, Gail Devers hurdling and some of our other ladies in trouble with the USADA. Lauryn Williams, with her quick get away, may be a pretty good anwser

                    Wow, legal 11.14 and she's a FRESHMAN.

Good things ahead barring all the usual gremlins.
