  • #YearoftheVault 2015 Pole Vault Results

I wanted to start a new thread for all of the great 2015 pole vault results : )

Today in separate meets, Demi Payne jumped 4.62, her teammate says from a short run, putting her over 15' for the third week in a row. Sandi Morris jumped 4.65 for a new PR. Both ladies attempted 4.76 a new Collegiate Record.

This 'rivalry' can only be good for both. Even though they're both jumping high, it's never enough when someone else is putting up similar numbers.
    No room for complacency!

And let's not forget Kaitlin Petrillose---FORMER CR holder with 15-1.
She's had a bit of a rough start to 2015----w/ at least 1 NH (when Morris got the first CR!!).
But she recently cleared 13-10 (3rd behind Payne and Stefanidi last week), so maybe she'll join the record breaking party soon too!

            Was the 5.55 indoors?
If so, that's the INdoor Age 17 record....breaking his own 18'1 from a week or 2 ago!
The 5.60 by Tarasov is the OUTdoor Age 17 best!

Note that the Morris mark is a lo-altitude CR.

A song of pleasure and pain: Victoria von Eynatten first celebrated her new PB of 4.51m in Dortmund this weekend and a few minutes later, during her third attempt over 4.61m, her achilles tendon ruptured.

Also back in action (after resting last week) is HSR holder Desiree Freier.
She got over 14-2.75 two weeks ago, which was her first 14+ footer as a Collegian!
If she's on, she could challenge the Big 3, especially if one of them has an off day!
