^ re Efraimson's performance: I think (maybe -- I don't have a list -- I am looking at the USA all-time list for this event) it makes her #3 US Junior performer, behind Cain and Diana Richburg (2:40.1h, 1982). (I know it is a not-often-contested event, but still, if it is list-worthy, it is noteworthy.)
