My sister, of all people, sent me the link (she lives in Florida.) Nice time for early March in what essentially was a time trial (see the video.) He was 13th on last year's HS boys list at 4:07.39 (converted) for the mile, not in the top 25 for 2 miles (which was essentially 9:00 and under.)

I was there and was struck by the STRIDE on this kid - powerful and easy. Sure looks like the real deal.
