On the men's side I have the 60, 400, 800, relay, LJ, TJ and SP going to the college boys.

For the ladies I give the 400, the relay and the hurdles to the student athletes.

        Men
        WILL beat Euros--60, 400, 800, 60H, Relay, TJ, SP
        COULD beat Euros--1500, 3000
Will NOT beat Euros--HJ, LJ, PV, Hept

        Women
        WILL beat Euros--400, Relay, PV
        COULD beat Euros--60, 800, 3000
Will NOT beat Euros--1500, 60H, HJ, LJ, TJ, SP, Pent

I have SOME reservations about my predictions.
Some of my picks for WILL might be just ties, which doesn't really count as beating!
With Cheserek supposedly tripling, that 3000 is doubtful.
        The Hept could surprise.

        On the Women's side....
The 60 is pretty strong this year---and deep---so a big breakthrough could happen.
If the 3000 isn't "strategic", the Euros time could be beat.
Don't put ALL your money on Payne. Save some for Morris!
I don't think Saunders will beat Marton's mark. But I wouldn't be shocked to see her win with something well over 60-0!!

Women 1500 is wrong, the correct time is 4.09.04 and I do think this time could be beaten. And I also add that Hassan wasn't impressive at all; yep, she front-ran the whole race but after a first 400 in 1.04 (roughly 4.00 pace) she slowed down and almost blown-up at the end with a bad 4.09... she won, but only because those were Euros and the level was low. She was clearly not the same who ran 4.00 flat last month.

How about attendance? Euro 52, 284 visitors over the 3,5 days...

None of the athletes competing in the iNCAA is good enough even to get close to 6,353. In fact, I doubt very much is they can score more than 6,100 (which be good enough to fifth place in the Euro championship). Williams and Bougard have better chance for a medal score in the Pentathlon than Scantling and Uibo in the Heptathlon.

That would require CLs in men's 60, 400, 60H, relay, SP and women's PV. How likely is it people will improve in ALL the events in this meet? Moreover, m800 would require a CL on a regular 200 track and in mTJ, the CL would pretty much need to be matched.

Keep in mind that there are more countries competing in the NCAA than in the Euros.

You sure about that? How many countries are represented this year?

Certainly on anything 400m and shorter (just the 200 and 400 and the 4x400, and EIC does not do the 200, I suppose), ignoring an OT mark compared to a big-banked 200 is a technicality that is close to absurd. Even for the 800 the difference for time is minimal at best. And, when you talk about the multis, the running speeds are slow enough that the issue is really moot. For the comparison at hand it should be completely ignored except for the distance races.

By my count, 28 countries at NCAAs (as compared to 49 at Euro Indoors).

Well maybe not over but 8.28 by Dendy is pretty dang close.
