Perhaps I have, but I certainly can't remember ever before in my life having seen a vault chart that ran to 17 heights!

You have not seen the vault charts for the decathlon then. Ten cm intervals, ten intervals per meter, sometimes they start well down into 3.xx meters. I know, you probably meant in the open vault. I would guess those officiating HS invites (Atticus) have seen some long progressions. I have done the Wisconsin Track Club and have gone from 2.00 to 5.40 meters in one meet.

OK, clarificstion: I've of course seen "many" multi-event competitions do that, because of the wide range of talent. I was referencing the "real" event.
