This is great news, but where will everyone that wants to attend sit? What is the capacity of Hayward Field. Certainly no more than 25,000. This will be by far the smallest venue ever for a World Championship.

Considering the circumstances surrounding this I'm thinking Bob Hersh's IAAF colleagues wanted to make sure it happened while he was still on council, which may be an ominous sign for Hightower.
