NOP tweeted (just over an hour ago) they will NOT be at PJ!

      (paraphrased)
NOP has changed their spring schedule, and will not be at Payton Jordan. Good luck to everyone competing. #GoStanford

(Yes, they included that hashtag! LOL)

Sooooo, no Rupp, Levins, Cain, or Hasay!

That's disappointing...will probably see them next at Oxy High Performance. Rupp hasn't raced for over 2 months...should be rested!

Except for Cain at the Oregon Relays, I don't think any of them have raced outdoors yet this year!

Andy Bumbalough has dropped from the 10K.
He tweeted he has a "small injury", and that his season opener "will have to wait".

When I think of the workouts Rupp and company do, the race IS the rest.

Just posted same message on the World Relays thread, but I see both Andy Wheating and Mac Fleet---listed here in the 800---are ALSO entered for the DMR at the World Relays!

Obviously, they won't/can't be in both places, sooooo.....which will it be?

Great debut(?) for Nicole Tully in 5k (3rd, 15:05.58). Maybe she's found a new niche?

5000m will be a good niche for USA women this year. The top four in the distance (Huddle, Flanagan, Rowbury and Simpson) will not be competing for their spots on the World Championship team in 5000m. (Simpson may compete in 5000m at the Nationals as she did two years ago, since she already has a wild card in 1500m.) It is wide open compared to 1500m, 10000m and even 3000mSC. (Who would have thought that a few years ago?)
