It's going to be Felix to Tarmoh in the heats?
Ummmmmm.......is the team selection committee INSANE (and/or drunk!)???

Also, these line-ups are for the heats, right?
So that means VCB and SAFP will still be in the final for Jamaica, yes??

I don't think SAFP will be running. If I remember well, she was entered only in the 4x200 which she didn't run.

I'm pretty sure VCB and SAFP are being put into the finals.

Other way round. VCB entered for both, SAFP entered for 4x100.

Because Tarmoh to Felix as a problem does not mean that Felix to Tarmoh will have the same characteristics. Note that for these athletes, there have not been a lot of relay races to get things down. And, compared to the 4x100, in the 4x200 the incoming runner is quite fatigued and making the pass is more difficult.

Maybe the US coaches prefer to wait until the final before they drop the baton.

Yes Duncan ran 3rd leg. Slight issues on the hand off with Felix running into Duncan a little bit and Jeter looking back after a first attempt to get the baton from Duncan. But they finish in 42.63.

Jeter will need a good lead.

The Universal Sports announcers called Duncan "Tarmoh", even though it was clear on the screen it was Duncan. Felix to Duncan was very bad, IMO; she ran up on her badly. Jeter did not look very good, either, it seemed to me.
                        Cheers,

Seems like several other teams are having trouble with passing. France has now DNF'd in both sprint relays (& they were the silver medalists in last year's Euro Championships).

Us team was unimpressive in the heats. Passes very sloppy and only Felix seemed to run well. I don't think the coaching staff will make any changes, they are certainly not adding Tarmoh or Whitney. It makes no sense why Bowie the top American last season wasn't in the squad at all.
