  • ¶Doha DL '15: mSP—Storl 21.51 (Kovacs 4th)

    Storl 21.51
    Hoffa 21.30
    Whiting 21.06
    Kovacs 20.86
    Kolasinac 20.44
    Lauro 20.26
    Vivas 19.91
    Richards 19.89

Copying results from the official site is even more of a pain than it used to be.

Who cares if u throw over 22 in a useless meet if u can't break 21 in the DL meets or the big meets.

Well, he broke 21 meters 5 times last year in DL meets, including 21.52 in Shanghai, so you have to assume he can do it again.

True, let's just hope he didn't peaked too early. His last competition before Doha wasn't great either (21m)...

This actually might be a good sign -- i.e., that he is dropping back in his training to work to build to a peak for the real contests rather than worrying about being fresh for these meets.

Kovacs was entered in Tucson Elite Classic yesterday but in the end he didn't show up. I hope he is not injured...
