Figured I would start a thread since the meet has started.

Yekaterina Koneva has already jumped 15.04 in the triple jump for a meet record and world lead on only her second jump. Ibarguen is right behind at 14.88.

Good w400. Felix looked smooth and capable of more.

Supposing Koneva's 15.04 wasn't windy (the official website is showing 0.0 for everybody again...), we finally have our first 15.xx jump by a woman born in 1985 or later.

Will Felix ever run sub-49 and will Sanya ever run sub-22?

Given that they are in the late 20s I doubt it but Alison has a better chance as she has never focused on just the 400 in any season

Felix did state in her short interview after the race that she will be focusing on both events this year.

Wasn't McCorory on the original entry list?

Batman eased off too much and paid the price. That strategy needs reworking.

Looks like Jackson slowed down way too much on the backstretch of the 400H, and paid for it with too much ground to catch up on the final.

Dutch and Jackson the only two ready for this race. Tinsley, Gordon, Culson still rounding into form.

Ibarguen jumps 15.01 on her 5th jump while Koneva seems to have passed still leading with her 15.04.

Jager looked good, just missing the AR in his first steeple of the year.

Fastest ever steeplechase on American soil and Jager with #2 American performance. He now has the top six such performances.

10.84 for English Gardner over Thompson, who ran the same time. In Only the "B" race....
