Firstly it wasn't the Brits it was the English team, big difference. There's no way they took anything for granted in terms of a win; they were defending like madmen. It was a highly unusual occurance in soccer.Leave a comment:

Sorry to bump this up again but the week just got even worse...
Lakers completely humiliated last night was bad enough. Right now I'm meant to be on a plane to Seattle. Fight cancelled and I'm put on one 3 hours later, decide to come home (15 mins from LAX), get ticket driving out of the airport...England playing Switzerland tomorrow a.m. Suggest eveyone puts serious $$$ on Swiss as at the rate I'm going they are guaranteed a win...Leave a comment:

ahem.... we certainly responded but didn't use "non"! It was quite amusing, there were at least 50 English guys on the street yelling back and gesticulating at the French. Some locals were walking past and asked, "what the hell is happening"! Watched the FSW roundup last night...even more sickening to see the replay. Heskey's foul was totally unnecessary and as for Gerrards pass...
