I wouldn't have given Bowie the favourite helm over Schippers so easily. I still think Schippers is going to run something special in the 200m this year.

Although I am personally picking Tarmoh to win tomorrow, you do realize in this race, there are 4 women who have run faster than Tarmoh has ever run in her life a mere 2 weeks ago and are still running off that peak. I would kind of be surprised if Tarmoh does not make the team, but not if she came 3rd, 4th or 5th by a very small margin.

(Although the w400 has shown already that anything can happen)

I would have her as my favorite for Beijing if Felix was running the 200. Like others here ,I'm disappointed. To win the 100m she needs to have a blinding start because SAFP (my fav) will, if everything goes to plan. In the 200m she doesnt necessarily need to get that start to win the Gold.
        Apparently Ignorance is bliss

I'll go with this (likely not in this order). Not sure a sub 22 is in the cards but we'll surely see. Prandini looks tough out there but her race in the final at NCAAs crumbled after getting out there. Tarmohs to lose.

winds in the men's semis: +1.1 and -1.3; that last won't help any fast-time aspirations

That was a great bend run by Whitney! Equals her PB of 22.49 with a -0.1 wind!

Tarmoh went out pretty much all out it seems and was destroyed. Prandini looked good but also worked fairly hard. Great race by Kaylin Whitney - wow, what a talent!

Prandini looked excellent - backed off near the end there.

I hope Muna Lee can make the team.... Going to be hard based off of what I am seeing.

Tarmoh may have actually done herself a service finishing 3rd in her heat. She now has lane 7 in the final as opposed to an inside lane.

Muna Lee unfortunately has lane 1. But you can look back to 2009 where she finished just behind Felix at USA's from lane 1!

What are the full lane draws?
