Thanks aaronk - your listing makes it so much easier to sort and select for the DL Fantasy than having to rely on the world's greatest web site - the DL

SR as in season records? Sorry ... I'm used to seeing it as "SB" I think, haha.

Gay has only ran 9.87, Rodgers 9.90, and Bailey 9.93 this year though ... to my knowledge. Still sub-10 nonetheless.

2 of those in Eugene, where it seems most have trouble getting back close to those times later in the season. Rodgers and Gay of course have past marks to back those up (although I believe most of Rodgers' fastest marks have been in Eugene).

I suspect Gay will get faster still as the season progresses, but I'm not so sure about Rodgers. Also seems to me like Bailey isn't close to that 9.93 shape at the moment.

Bledmans time of course was at the Trinidad and Tobago champs. He always seems to run fast there, then never get close anywhere else. I doubt he will touch that time the rest of the season.

Ogunode I also doubt will be close to that 9.91 (in Wutan?). All this is perhaps a bit too long range for this thread, given it's about the Lausanne DL. Just some thoughts ...

As for Lausanne, given the cooperation of the wind, I see it as Gatlin/Powell/Gay in that order, with everyone else pretty much in a separate race. However seeing as Powell will have some competition this time, he could crater completely and finish well back time wise, of the other "big 2" at least ... although I really hope not. I don't see Powell any worse than 5th place though (could see Rodgers just getting him if Powell has a bad race)

            My mens 100 predictions:

            Gatlin - 9.72
            Powell - 9.80
            Gay - 9.82
            Rodgers - 9.95
Everyone one else 10.0x - to low 10.1s

Yeah SR would typically mean Stadium Record rather than Season Record.

I said erroneously typed SR when I meant SB (a hangover from having to constantly convert the Aussie/UK/Euro PB to PR for USAian audience)...

And the Lausanne site has erroneously included a few windy times among the SRs (i.e. Gay, Rodgers & Bailey)... but they are still all sub-10 this year. So my point stands...

switch out one or two names from that 100 and you have the WC final.

The discussion about the Men's 100 is great, but pardon me for talking about other events.

I noted that Okagbare is apparently doubling (LJ/200).
Do you think one will affect the other?
That Women's 200--while not as loaded as the Men's 100--is still a pretty potent group.
Does everyone have Felix as their definite winner?
I'm thinking she COULD be upset!
                        (Don't ask me by who!)

Will Simpson finally break Slaney's AR?

Will Rowbury finally get her 1:59 (or faster!)?

How will O'Connor and Quigley do in their first race on the pro circuit?
(USATF could be listed as their 1st pro race, but I meant on the DL/European circuit!)

I'm seeing a good race from SRR, but I'm also thinking Miller might have her big 400 breakthrough, and beat her---with a 49.5 or so!

NOT starting my anti-Salazar rant, but wondering if Farah will run good, given all he's been through!
That's a solid field, so even if he's okay, I think he'll get a good run for his money!

                        ADD: Forgot one more question.
Will Centro finish last in the 800?
He DOES have the slowest PR!

If the conditions are good I agree and I do not think Powell will be very far away

What it will affect is the DL Fantasy Game because it was a similar situation with BOI last year which brought in the rule change where you have to choose which event if an athlete is doubling up

Just read article on the front page, saying Okagbare will do the LJ at Lausanne.
Didn't say anything about her running the 200.

So just checked (again) the entries, and she IS entered in BOTH!

Do you think she'll ditch the 200 (which comes after the LJ on the schedule!)?
