    M-HJ (Barshim, Kynard, Grabarz, Duffield)

M-3000 (Lomong, Lagat, Farah, Derrick, Alamirew)

    July 25th
W-LJ (KJT, Lake, Jimoh, Ennis-Hill, Ugen, Proctor, DeLoach)
W-PV (Suhr, Stefanidi, Kiriakopoulou, Payne, Saxer, Sidorova)
W-100 (Ahoure, Asher-Smith, Bartoletta, Tarmoh, Schippers, Okgbare, Gardner)
W-SP (Adams, JCW, Brooks, B Smith, F Johnson, Carter)
M-400 (C Brown, Makwala, Maslak, Masrahi, Van Niekerk, Verburg)
W-5000 (Tully, Hall, Sisson, Huddle, M Cherono, Ayana, Avery, Westphal)
    M-LJ (Taylor, Rutherford, Dendy, Mokoena)
M-400H (Stigler, Tinsley, Van Zyl, Dutch)
    W-JT (Spotakova, Winger, Mickle, Gleadle)
W-800 (Martinez, Sum, Buchel, Sharp, Price, Ludlow, Hassan)
W-200 (SRR, Thompson, McGrone, Ennis-Hill, K Brown, Bowie)

M-800 (Rudisha, Berian, Amos, Sowinski, Loxsom, Kszczot, Bosse)
M-Mile (Blankenship, Centrowitz, C Cheboi, Kiprop, Manzano, O'Hare, Magut, Iguider, Souleiman)

Surprised to not have Oliver in the hurdles as he is the only main player missing.

Chose the Pan Am games instead.

            Noticed that too.
Also MIA are James and Merritt in the 400.
            Bondarenko's not there.
            Bromell too.
I know that D'Agostino and Sandi Morris have returned home.

Is this Payne's first Pro meet?

James himself said he was not going to compete until WC after his last DL meeting.
Bondarenko has been dealing with a food/ankle injury and I hope will be ready for worlds.

Why on earth are the Men's 100m and 200m on same day (Friday) and Women's 100m and 200m also on same day (Saturday). Would have thought these events would be on separate days to give people opportunity to double.

From Aaron K's list, I have split them into DL events and non-DL events, to clarify scoring and in some cases explain why some DL contenders are not competing.

                    DL events
                    -----------
                    M-DT (Malachowski, Urbanek, R Brown)
Malachowski has a 5-point lead on Urbanek, R Harting's out of action

M-110H (Merritt, Richardson, Ortega, PML, A Harris, Ash)
Oliver has a 5-point lead on Ortega.

                    W-400H (Moline, Tate, Hejnova, Spencer)
Good test for Hejnova against Spencer, who is 10 points ahead of her.

                    M-HJ (Barshim, Kynard, Grabarz, Duffield)
Apparently Bondarenko is injured. Why no Zhang?

                    W-TJ (Rypakova, K Williams) add Knyazhevo-Minenko
Ibarguen has this one sewn up.

M-200 (Ashmeade, Dukes, C Mitchell, Lemaitre, Jobodwana)
This one is still wide open.

W-PV (Suhr, Stefanidi, Kiriakopoulou, Payne, Saxer, Sidorova)
Kiriakopoulou has a 1-point lead over absent Murer; Suhr has only one.

W-100 (Ahoure, Asher-Smith, Bartoletta, Tarmoh, Schippers, Okagbare, Gardner)
Ahoure or Okagbare could catch SAFP with a 1st or 2nd; Bowie is choosing the non-DL 200, but also was entered for Luasanne and did not show

W-SP (Adams, JCW, Brooks, B Smith, F Johnson, Carter)
Glad to see Jill back in international action. Gong beat Schwanitz in Gotha 7/19, but Schwanitz has 8-point lead over her.

M-400 (C Brown, Makwala, Maslak, Masrahi, Van Niekerk, Verburg)
James has a 6-point lead on Van Niekerk and Gardiner.

W-5000 (Tully, Hall, Sisson, Huddle, M Cherono, Ayana, Avery, Westphal)
Ayana is NOT on the list, as of today, so cannot gain on Dibaba's 6-point lead. Good test for Huddle vs. Cherono.

M-LJ (Taylor, Rutherford, Dendy, Mokoena) add Hartfield, who is tied with Rutherford.

                    W-JT (Spotakova, Winger, Mickle, Gleadle)
Add Viljoen, tied with Spotakova for DL lead, Ratej, Dorozhon (4)

W-800 (Martinez, Sum, Buchel, Sharp, Price, Ludlow, Hassan)
Sum probably not catchable, especially since Wilson is not competing. Hassan has a 1:59.95 from last year and 2:00.62 14 June in Rabat.

M-3000SC (Birech, C Kipruto, Kebenai, Cabral, Bayer, Koech, Leslie, Yego)
                    Birech is a lock.

M-Mile (Blankenship, Centrowitz, C Cheboi, Kiprop, Manzano, O'Hare, Magut, Iguider, Souleiman)
Kiprop didn't get any points for his 3:26.69! Kiplagat leads with 10, but absent. Souleiman has 6, Kiprop 5.

                    non-DL events
W-400 (McCorory, NWM, McPherson, Ohuruogu, S Miller)
Good field for a non-DL race.

                    M-PV (Lavillenie, Barber, Lisek)
M-100 (Bolt, Bailey, Bracy, Collins, Dasaolu, Kilty, Rodgers, Vicaut)
                    They will run interesting heats.

W-100H (L Jones, Ennis-Hill, Harper-Nelson, Ofili, Porter, Stowers, Nelvis, Rollins)
W-1500 (Ax Embaye, Moser, Sarah Brown, L O'Connor, Mackey, Grunewald, Judd, L Johnson, Cain)
Now this one looks like a non-DL field. Cain ran 4:11.76 for 17th at KBC, where Johnson got her Q.

M-3000 (Lomong, Lagat, Farah, Derrick, Alamirew)
This one is set up for Farah, except for Alamirew, who showed improved for in Monaco.
It's not clear in the program whether this is a 3K or a 2 Mile.

W-LJ (KJT, Lake, Jimoh, Ennis-Hill, Ugen, Proctor, DeLoach)
M-400H (Stigler, Tinsley, Van Zyl, Dutch)
W-200 (SRR, Thompson, McGrone, Ennis-Hill, K Brown, Bowie)
M-800 (Rudisha, Berian, Amos, Sowinski, Loxsom, Kszczot, Bosse)
Sammy is pacing for Rudisha, as usual. Aman absent, has been very inconsistent this year.

                    Cheers,
                    Alan Shank

James wanted to return to FLA. to get in some speed work since he had to miss that in his preparation due to the IT band inflammation. He essentially raced himself back into fitness.

Well, yep, he had better do it! I checked and the problem is his ankle, who bothered him also in recent years.

Thanks to Alan Shank for VASTLY improving my initial post.
(Reason I put them all together is that I'm mostly into records & marks, so don't really care about DL points or medals!)

But you made no mention of Demi Payne. Will be interesting to see how she does in one of her 1st pro meets!
Isn't this her first in Europe?
                              Can't remember!
