To be sure. He has SBs of 10.17 and 20.41, early, then ran the 100 heats in the NCs, 10.19 +1.7 for 7th in his heat.
    Cheers,

An attraction is what attracts. He won by 0.22 what do you want? They want him to run faster they need to get him better opponents.

Although with Powell, lack of opposition can often be a stronger spur for fastest times

That's true, but conditions weren't conductive to fast times. Campbell-Brown won the 100m with a pedestrian 11.22 and, to give an example, one of Asafa's competitors ran 10.2x after running 10.0x in London with all that headwind. Moreover, it was a competition who Asafa himself didn't talk about too much on the socials like he is using to doing. I think he ran his race without pushing too much, like Gatlin in Hungary some weeks ago.

Yes, Molly was the pacemaker. Gabe got tangled with someone 50m into race, who went down, then stepped off at some point after that. Maggie Vessey and Melissa Bishop had an exciting race with about 250 to go. The last 100 they were side by side with Vessey pushing ahead for the win.

Sorry, but when I speak of the NCs, I'm referring to the NCAA meet, not the USATF National Championships. I suspect I'm not alone.

I would never further abbreviate NCAAs for that reason - NC for other countries mean Natl Champs, so it could be construed likewise here. Similarly, USATF is always USATF, but OT, WC and OG are fine as they are the biggest meets. A little "i" in front of NCAA, USATF or WC suffices to indicate the indoor versions.
