The simple way (well relatively speaking) to get the series in any event is to start with the result link on our front page (which is the by-day result). If you click on hammer Q, for example, you get this line

09:30 18:30 (21 AUG) M Hammer Throw Qualification Group A Startlist Result Summary

Click on Summary and you get the composite result of the first round (A-B combined). And at the top of that page click on Series and it expands things.

Isn't Brenden Foster doing commentary for BBC? I thought I saw his name listed somewhere but I don't believe he called the sprint finals on TV.

Yes, but in his defense, I've yet to hear him use the word "penultimate"

Yes, Brendan Foster has been doing commentary, but not on sprints. They've got quite a list of former British stars on board -- Cram, Foster, Colin Jackson, Jonathan Edwards, Jo Pavey, Daley Thompson and Denise Lewis, some in the studio and some at the stadium.
                Cheers,
                Alan Shank

Thanks. I love Foster when he does the sprints.

And they added Dai Greene for the 400H final.
On Eurosport, Maurice Greene was with Tim Hutchings after the meet was over. I couldn't stand the commercials on Eurosport, and I had a lot of freeze-ups, so I went back to BBC Two.
                    Cheers,
                    Alan Shank
