looking at this field I really doubt Symonds would have been a factor.

He looked to be a finalist, at best.

For me, this will be my most-anticipated event---I can hardly wait to watch!

My bet is on Tuka to come from behind to win. Unless Rudisha acts as the perfect rabbit and Amos goes with him but Tuka doesn't in which case Tuka will probably be too far behind to overhaul Amos. Don't see any scenario in which Rudisha wins though though he is who I would want to win.

Tuka looked great last month but the question mark is the rounds.

This event gets my nod for 'hot-mess-of-the-meet'. Rudisha could win or Amos or Tuka. Not sure Aman is ready (didn't pick him for top-3, but if he is, he could get 2nd). After that, there's a drop-off, but I have no idea how this will play out, so I'll go
              Amos
              Rudisha
              Tuka
              for no apparent reason whatsoever.

Loxsom runs as if drunk. Someone call Nick and tell him he's forgiven.

Amos looked good in his heat.

Loxsom was interfered with (twice!) in his heat, but finished way out of the top 3.
What's the rule for something like this?
His race was affected, but it doesn't seem he would have qualified anyway.

Did the guy just knock Loxsom out of lane 1?

DQ for the Algerian guy, I think?

Aman had to work in that heat. Amos ran faster and looked easier (and messier, of course).

Murphy pulls a Kemboi and gets in.

Impressive move by Murphy to get through. Can't favor him to make the final but good sign for the future.
