The distinction might be that they won't allow a protest run if your reaction time is under the .1000 standard. Bledman was originally DQd for moving in the blocks even though he didn't violate the .1000 standard. And he ultimately won his protest.
You might well be right or is it an American meet's application of rules? I don't know but I know we've seen domestic meets where that's done-running under protest-just never seen it in Europe at least that I'm aware of. I would be curious to know if that's the reason, as you suggest might be a possibility.

Can u imagine kobe n lebron conmutting a foul n being out for the rest of playoffs until next season. This is the equivalent. Its so stupid I cant comprehend. If I was ronnie ash them chinese guards would have to scrape me up from the starting blocks. I swear this sport is run by big headed idiots..
I do agree, but, abide by the rules as they are. You only look like a fool and make your country look bad when you act like a spoiled brat.

Is it just me or did Harris hit almost every hurdle?

Ha! A little showmanship from BÜHLER, while Parchment glanced over to check his position.

Harris has an interesting style when he is hurdling, shaking his right arm twice like he is trying to dislodge the stubborn remaining 1/8th of the contents of a ketchup bottle.
