                      Top two get preferred lanes. I noticed that Nelvis was getting too close to the hurdles and putting the brakes. Hopefully she can adjust for the semis

                          It is not whether a 12.50 does you any good now but there is a huge psych. factor involved if others see you are not quite so invincible. That said, Nelson and Rollins "should" go 1-2

                            Rollins and Harper Nelson looked very good. Nelvis and Harrison didn't look as good but I think they will be better in the semis.

                                Your objective is to get to the next round, not get close to your personal best in a heat. You go too fast and mess up, game over. Save the riskier effort for the semis and final. No one who should have advanced was in danger of failing to do so.
