Does that mean she's going pro? I thought she had one more year with Oregon.

She did have one more year of eligibility at Oregon.

I think Keshia Baker was the last Oregon athlete to not sign with Nike.

Yes I know. I meant she's finished at Oregon because she signed.

Yea, sorry I should have quoted Cooky as I was directly answering his question with that.

I wonder if she'll continue to work with Curtis Taylor, her coach at the University of Nike?

Puma did not get their money's worth today. She placed 5th in her semi heat.

Does Puma have any other American athletes?

Is Li Ning still in the game? I remember hearing they were going to open an office in Oregon, not sure if anything ever came on that. I have a t-shirt they gave to a coach down there!

It's going to take some 'creative marketing' to sell her now. In a world of 'what have you done for me lately', the answer is currently 'not much.' I can't see her doing much better in the remaining DLs. I picked her for 3rd here, and still think she can be another Schippers, but I now consider her the poster-woman of our ongoing discussion of moving the Trials closer to the Big Meet. She couldn't re-peak. Some of her 'failure' here is no doubt attributable to the fact that the meet was in the friendly confines of Hayward Field, but, c'mon, this was a major let-down, and I'm sure it was NOT because she didn't work hard enough after USATF.
