what do you mean advertise? i was simply saying that there is some great competition that is going to go on at this meet. And considering that I live by byu, and don't always have the oppurtunity to see world class athletes, i'm just excited to go and watch this meet.

You could have linked to the meet, but instead you linked to an advertisement for a meet services company. That's OK by me, but there is a stricture against commercialism here (usually).

The site he linked to is frame-based so it is a pain to find that actual link you want people to see. I, for one, am glad when "locals" highlight top end competition. Maybe a couple extra fans or athletes turn out because of it. The meet has some excellent athletes entered.

For a group of people so caught up in how little track and field is hyped around here, some of you sure gave Leif a hard time about his post. My wife just had a baby, so I won't be there, but I would have liked to go.
