  • Ticket Advice for Bislett

I have looked at the available seats for Bislett and my choices are just past the finish line, curve at the start of the home stretch, or the opposite side. Any advice from those who have been there?

I've been both on the finish line and at the 1500 start at Bislett. I hate (any stadium) past-the-finish line stuff and really like the 1500 start (all stadia) in terms of getting proper perspective on homestretch battles. I think the actual finishline is way overrated, and in reality a poor place from which to watch a meet.

Thanks for the advice. That's what I have been thinking also. Plenty of tickets available by the 1500 start and cost less than the finish straight. At Penn, I always used to sit on the finishing straight but the last time I went sat on the back stretch and enjoyed it more.

I sat front row on the back straight - it was great for distance events but not good for field events which were on the home straight or curves.
