On tonight's show, the answer was,

" Middle distance race that is the last event in the Decathlon."

Nothing but blank stares and no response from all 3 contestants.

One of them did respond "10K", but the term "middle distance" isn't going to mean anything to most contestants.

Not surprising. I coached in college track for 22 years and 3/4 of the high school track coaches I talked with (hundreds) couldn't have told you the 1500m was even in the decathlon.
