  • A trivia question for gh

The Ontario provincial high school championships are this month. They have seen better days but it is arguably the toughest high school track meet on the continent. You normally have to go through 3 qualifiers to get to the show-all head to head competition. Now gh is from BC so this might be an unfair question for him. And no spilling the beans if you saw it on TC.

"Name three Olympic champions who competed at OFSAA yet never won?"

Apparently you are not familiar with the Texas and California HS formats. Texas had a 4:10 miler who couldn't get through. California routinely has elite athletes who can't get through the qualifiers even with good marks.

He did not even get out of District (regionals and state to follow) and was the defending State champion if I remember correctly.

And the continent of Arctica is where . . .?

Was Duncan McNaughton from Ontario? Did OFSSA exist in 1900?
