The simple fact is that none of them had remotely approached their potentials and chose to go elsewhere to re-boot (I'm assuming Sant will go elsewhere, though she hasn't announced yet). No one can argue with the quality of the coaching staff that has produced many NCAA champions in individual events. H Crouser coached by Eric Whitsett who has produced two NCAA champs at different schools. Moore working with several coaches, but who can deny the success of a program which produced Ashton Eaton and BTE, both NCAA and World Champs? Sant working with Curtis Taylor and competing for arguably the most successful women's sprint school in recent years. Not sure about Francis. Perhaps laboring in the shadow of her successful sister was difficult and she certainly did nothing at Oregon that might reveal any sort of potential as an NCAA scorer. I'll give the coaching staff at FL great credit for trying her in the 400H, since she really wasn't very successful in the short sprints and middle distances as a Duck. Anyways, it would be hard to argue with the quality of the coaching staff at Oregon, but we're also dealing with very young adults who were unhappy with where they were and decided that leaving offered a better solution than sticking with the program. How many of us switched colleges for various reasons relating to academics, social life, etc? I see this as more of a normal progression than a specific problem at Oregon.

In a series of continuous tweets, Todd gave vent to her anger(??) & frustration (??) at all the comments made about her situation.
Whether she was referring to this MB's comments (mine included!!), or to Let's Run's----or both!!---I don't know.
So here---verbatim (with the ALL CAPS being her own, as well as the grammar, etc) is what she said.
These were posted on Twitter starting about a half hour ago, so very recent!
I think you people forget that I'm a freaking 22 year old human being.
When you're trying to move on from situations you know nothing about and you people bash my character, that's when it's an issue.
I never not blamed myself for this situation when I refer to things being out of control I'm referring to how it was handled and the timing
Fans want to know if I'm injured that's why I said not injury related--I'M HEALTHY! I'm still training for trials.
Other than this I owe nobody anything except my supporters and team an apology for not being able to finish my season--and I'm deeply sorry
Situations happen. When I'm READY I'LL tell you guys. I'm still trying to get missing pieces to a puzzle.
In other news....Today was a good day (She put a smiley face here!)
And that's a wrap!!
ADD:
I sent her a tweet saying---
If you're referring to @tandfn MB comments (mine included), I apologize for upsetting you. Curiosity killed the cat! MEOW! LOL
She replied about 3 minutes later---
this isn't specific to one person....This is as a whole. It's people who act like I'm not human and I don't love my team
ADD: She sent me another tweet.
I am human and I love my team.
I replied---
Never more than you expressed tonight. Bless you, and best of luck at the Trials.Last edited by aaronk; 06-06-2016, 12:17 AM.

Yet here I am!
Seriously, Twitter is a gold mine when it comes to getting meet results---from obscure small meets around the world that produce world class marks!---faster than you can by going to meet websites!
PoleVaultPower (Becca) gives you an attempt-by-attempt account of major PV events!
It also gives you an inside peek at the off-track lives of whichever elite athletes you choose to follow.
And as with Todd's tweets (above), it gives an athlete a public, yet impersonal, outlet to vent!
Not to mention all the video & article links given out on tweets!
Phoebe Wright is probably more famous for her tweets than she is for her running!!

Again, seriously, don't knock it if you haven't tried it!
Here's a few names of T&F people who use Twitter for good purposes---
Jasmine Todd (the above series of tweets), who chose Twitter instead of asking Flotrack to give her an interview!
Suzy Favor Hamilton, who is always tweeting links to articles & sending out inspirational words about mental illness!
Nick Symmonds & Boris Berian who have used---and are using--Twitter to present THEIR sides of their fights against USATF & Nike!!
And use Twitter to gain public support for their arguments!
Greg Rutherford has tweeted his anger at the rule on how many athletes get the final 3 attempts!
Phoebe Wright sent out a GREAT photo to indicate how it feels to race against Caster Semenya---which has gone viral!!
Etc, etc , etc!!
