  • I always thought Henderson was a mega talent, great to see him get out there past 28.

    • A bit ironic to have this competition follow Lewis' remarks on the lack of quality in the long jump.

      • Perhaps Lewis pissed the top long jumpers off and fired everyone up.

But this bodes well for his triple jump in a few days, in which he should be safe.
In a mixed zone video interview on, as they used to say, another network, Claye seemed to say that Dendy had been given 2 weeks to prove fitness after suffering an injury here, and that if he cannot, the fifth-placer (Hartfield) will take Dendy's place at the Games. Claye has been told by USATF that he is not in consideration.

Based on his torching of Darrelle Revis last night, he seems to have made a pretty smooth transition. Apparently, Revis didn't know Goodwin had an elite track background. I wonder if Revis, the best cornerback of his generation, knew that Goodwin ran the 3rd fastest time in NFL Combine history, and is one of only six men to ever run 4.2x.

                • Again and again Hendersen shows that he can jump good only in USA, when he goes abroad he has a lot of problems with the run-up and rythm, so we can only imagine good jumps from Jeff outside US
