Dad was a 2.25 High Jumper who I think was at Alabama a few years ago.

      • Duane Solomon announced retirement. From front page today: https://www.instagram.com/p/CBqMe-dn...d=ooplxrmjczxl

Funny, I was recently wondering about what happened to him. I liked him as an athlete, but liked Symmonds more, so was a little miffed when Solomon finished higher than him in "The Race". Silly, I know.

4th all time in the 600 meters with 1:13.28 behind Bosse, Rudisha and Gray.

Got me curious enough to look it up. Mike Edwards was a redshirt freshman at Alabama in 2010, then transferred to Louisville for 2011 (Big East Outdoor Champ) & 2012. Transferred to Embry-Riddle for senior season and was 2013 NAIA Champ (indoors and out).

Any source on this? I do see it in the T&FN status quo article, but I cant find anything else online about it. And she recently (3 weeks ago) posted a photo of her hurdling on instagram with a quote of "never to late to go after whatever you want in life".

                            • Always thought Stowers was amazingly unlucky to come along at a time when American Women's short hurdling was at such an incredibly high level.

To run 12.35 and never make an Outdoor's World or Oly team is crazy.

She would be national record holder in every country in the world other than the US, Bulgaria, Russia, Australia and Jamaica.
