My bad. But in my defense, those standards aren't listed either on the IAAF's World Relays site or on the competitions entry standards page.

I pretty much gave up on the IAAF site long ago. This isn't World Relays related, but while we're kvetching, I'm unable to find anywhere the qualifying period for the "extended" events (the ones whose window doesn't open this year).

Nor do I find (may well be there, but I gave up looking) a listing of "other ways" to qualify for London: Wild Cards, World XC finishes, etc., etc.

The qual period for the "extended events" can be found on the entry standards page mentioned by Powell. https://www.iaaf.org/competition/standards/2017

The listing of "other ways" to qualify for London an be found in Paragraph 103.3 of the Technical Regulations, which can be found here: https://www.iaaf.org/about-iaaf/docu...es-regulations (scroll down to Regulations -- the Tech Regs are the first item in that category) .

Heaven forbid that one might actually click on the meet in question on the home page and have that information listed as part of London.

The qualifying periods are listed there. On the WC page click on 'entry standards' near the bottom of the page.

I was meaning more than the entry standards as such. I'm talking about the "extra" provisos like Area Champions and other Wild Card options.

Note also that until I pointed it out to them last weekend, those entry-standard links listed the timeframe for the regular events, but not for the ones that opened in 2016.
