          Semenya will win Gold with Wilson taking the Silver. Any ones guest who will take bronze. And If Wilson decided to throw down the gauntlet I don't think Semenya has the legs to go after her after she ran 3 rounds of 1500m but we'll see.

            What Brenda was doing, is what Ajee used to do, until she paid for it by not getting out of the rounds in Rio. That's what prompted a new strategy this year. Meredith Valmon never hesitated to force a fast pace, and therefore yield a fast result, even if she wasn't on the podium.

              Happy to see Sharp reinstated. I am not a fan of meet officials deciding the results in championship races. They should error on the side of shutting up. Let the athletes decide the places on the track.

                Lipsey had the right idea in her semifinal and so did Huddle in her heat. They both knew they didn't have the footspeed to get a Q so they ran for a q. Certainly Martinez couldn't have expected to get a Q with Wambui and Niyonsaba in the race, could she?

                  I hope someone does try for a hard race to see what Semenya has in her after those 1500 none of which were slow, never mind how hard she had to work in the final stretch for that bronze.

                    Lipsey could have gotten a Q if she'd just stuck to the curb.

                      Calling it now, once again:

                      Gold===Wilson

                      Silver==Semenya

                      Bronze=Nyonsaba

                      4th===Lipsey

                      5th===Sharp

                      6th===?????

                        Semenya doesnt look great at all these champs so i doubt she wins. Wilson is n great shape but a lot of american hopefuls failed ths meet so im afraid she could be next.

                        Look for Cichocka (great form) and some other less known runners to make podium. thats how these champs are unfolding, expect the unexpected

                            She got a q, as opposed to a Q.

                                Can the upsets continue? Doubt it in this event, but...
