Now they're repeating the intro thing, getting ready for the elite racers.
      Stuart Storey and Chris Dennis.
      Cheers,

Now it's raining, unfortunately. Men were 14:28 at 5K, women 16:40, projecting 2:02:05 and 2:20:39

              29:04 at 10K, so current-pace projection is 2:03:05, average pace 2:02:39.
              33:12 for women, 2:19:39 current, 2:20:05 average.
So, women have sped up, men slowed down.

Slowed to about 14:36 for 2nd 5K, but still on WR pace---as measured by exact pace, NOT what Kimetto or others did!!
                Probably close to 2:02:30!

Women picked it up the 2nd 5K----to 33:12 for 10K, about 2:19:50 pace!

They showed splits at 6 and 7, and #7 was 3:00, so now they're even with Kimetto's pace, but slowing down. Storey and Dennis did NOT notice this.

Slowed to 3:05 for #14; once again, the commentators missed it.
                    43:44 at 15K, now 2:03:30 current, 2:03:01 average pace.

                      Women at 15K: 49:33 current pace 2:18:29, avg. 2:19:23
The commentators do not have access to any current-pace projections. Sheesh!

Love the way the Women are running---picking up the pace each of the first 3 5K's---from 16:40 to 16:32 to 16:21!!

One pacemaker gone. Bekele has dropped back.
