      Re: The big men!

It's concievable (although highly unlikely) that the records for distance for place could go down tonight for all of the top 4 spots!

I dont know about all three breaking 22meters, its very possible though, one thing that I'm going to say is that there will definetly be an American Sweep in the shotput at the olympics

        just my opinion

          Re: The big men!

well comrade Mikhnevich came out of nowhere last year - he could do it again. I don't think Olsen or Robberts can challenge and Myerscough is out so that leaves maybe Martinez or Bilonog who don't seem prepared right now. A sweep requires that all three are on top of their game THAT day. A non-sweep only requires that any other top SPer is on that day.

Lets not forget Joachim Ohlsen of Denmark. He has thrown 70+/21.35m on a number of occasions and could factor into the medals.

Miknevich, Belonog and Martinez have not been throwing all that impressively thus far. Even if they are throwing well I dont think they are any match for the Americans when Cantwell/Nelson/Godina/Hoffa are on form.

I'm guessing the Americans will go 1-2-4 at the OG's
