Is it crazy that I think SC can run 3:00.xx??? Gotta be a perfect race, but they have the horses.

Also crazy that it will almost definitely take a WR or close to it to win.....

Could be the race of the meet.

Even crazier that it won't be recognized by the IAAF because of the international flavor of some of these NCAA teams. >;-( ...

...But who the hell cares? >:-P What are the chances for sub-3:00.00? <:-) And how will they arrange their runners?

If Andrew Valmon, Quincy Watts, Butch Reynolds and Michael Johnson had run indoors, before running 2:54.29 outdoors, the WR would already be under 3:00.00 and 25 years old.

Based on how this meet is going, I'm almost inclined to say anything less than a WR would be a disappointment...

If that is true? Has anyone ever set a WR in 3rd place????
