ESPN put out a not very good most dominant athletes of the last 20 years list. On it from men's T&F was Usain Bolt. Here is my list, in no particular order:

MJ only has marks in 3 of the 20 years in question; tough to be "dominant" with so few appearances.

Arguably the greatest race walker of all time. 50k gold in Atlanta '96, 20k & 50k gold in Sydney 2000 (a unique double), 50k gold in Athens 2004. Set a 50k world record in a major champs (2002 Europeans?) etc

Korzeniowski was one of the All-Time great Walkers at both 20K & 50K!
His 3:36:03 in 2003 was the World Record!
His best 20K was 1:18:22, but only makes the top 40 A-T.
Not sure of his Medal count, but I'm sure he was in a few WC's & OG's!
He turns 50 on July 30th this year!

Won every major title at 50k from 1996 to 2004, except one (DQ in the 1999 WC), plus the Olympic gold at 20k in 2000. It doesn't get much more dominant than that.

Eliud Kipchoge, although 5 years is on the short end compared with some of the others. But in those five years, he has been as dominant as any marathoner ever.
